I believe meaningful therapy begins with a genuine human connection. Empathy, emotional awareness, trust, and feeling truly understood are at the heart of my work. While diagnoses can help us understand certain experiences, I believe therapy should always look beyond a diagnosis to understand the whole person — their relationships, experiences, values, strengths, and the circumstances that have shaped their life.

My therapeutic approach is grounded primarily in humanistic, existential, and person-centered perspectives. I strive to create a space where you can speak openly and honestly without fear of judgment or pressure to be someone other than yourself. Therapy should feel welcoming, freeing, and collaborative — a place where you can explore difficult experiences while also discovering more about who you are and who you want to become.

I work with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences, with particular interests in anxiety, OCD, borderline personality disorder (BPD), depression, relationship and family concerns, and issues involving identity, self-esteem, and sense of self.

At Axis, we believe therapy should adapt to the person rather than expecting the person to adapt to therapy. I bring that philosophy into my work by taking the time to understand what you need from the therapeutic process and what you hope to change, strengthen, or better understand. Together, we can explore your experiences, personal values, strengths, relationships, and patterns while developing goals that are meaningful to you.

My role is not to tell you how to live your life. Instead, I see myself as a guide and partner in helping you better understand what you are experiencing, where certain struggles may come from, and how past experiences may continue to influence the present. Through that process, therapy can become a place not only for addressing symptoms, but also for developing greater self-understanding, confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of direction.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you feel more equipped to navigate life’s challenges while building a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and fulfilling to you.
